I haven't tried this but I don't have an option on my account to install from disc. I found a similar issue was resolved by using a product key instead of account activation. I want to say it's a network driver issue but it fails on both a wired and wireless connection. I can install office on my laptop so I know the network is not the problem. There are no installed plugins to disable and if I try to activate in safe mode it crashes with the same error.
